A QUIET position and wonderful views of the mountains surrounding lech
Run as a farm during the 1960s, the Walkerbach has developed into a family-run guest house with the emphasis very much on the personal approach. The Elsensohn family have created a welcoming, laid-back atmosphere where you will immediately feel at home.
The hotel enjoys a central but quiet location from which you can enjoy sweeping views of the village and the Omeshorn peak throughout your stay. Guests cannot fail to be impressed by the efficiency of the connecting infrastructure in the area. At the end of the day you can return to the hotel via the Langer Zug ski run, or you may choose to follow the network of trails and footpaths passing right outside the hotel.
Rooms and holiday apartments
Our comfortable and comprehensively furnished rooms and holiday apartments are perfect for your holiday in the mountains of Lech am Arlberg. The rooms are equipped with bath, WC, telephone, free Wi-Fi Internet access and satellite TV, and many also have a balcony. On your arrival breathtaking views of Lech’s “local” mountain, the Omeshorn (2557 m), await. There are adequate car parking facilities outside the hotel.
Gastronomy & fine dining
For our guests, we offer breakfast or, in winter, half-board (closed on Tuesdays). Enjoy our cozy Stüble (parlor) to round off a wonderful day in the mountains.

Wednesday to Sunday: 6:00 PM to 11:00 PM (Kitchen open until 9:00 PM)
Closed on Mondays and Tuesdays (except December 29th and 30th, 2025)
An ideal base
The blue Lech buses provide our guests with an efficient up-to-date system of transport which is also free of charge, being included in the ski pass in winter and the Lech Card in summer. Guests thus have easy access to the villages of Lech, Oberlech, Zug and Zürs as well as Alpe Rauz, the connecting point to the ski area above St. Anton. During the summer months the blue bus also goes to the Spuller and Formarin lakes and the neighbouring village of Warth. There is a bus stop right outside the hotel.
