LOCATION & HOW TO FIND US
The Arlberg region where Lech-Zürs is located is easily accessible throughout the year. Winter guests should, however, ensure that their cars have the appropriate equipment for driving in the snow. Winter tyres are obligatory throughout Austria and sometimes, depending on the prevailing weather conditions, snow chains may also be a legal requirement.

We are easy to find
This is the best way to access the Pension Walkerbach: Driving along the road towards Warth, turn right at Hotel Brunnenhof and continue down the hill. The Pension Walkerbach is located approx. 300m further on.
For transport within the village it’s best to take advantage of the free Lech village bus service, which stops directly outside the hotel

The nearest train stations are Langen am Arlberg and St. Anton am Arlberg. From both stations there is a regular bus service to Lech, the current departure times can be found on the website of the Austrian Federal Railways - ÖBB.

When planning your journey please take into consideration the fact that the road between Warth and Lech is generally closed throughout the winter. Some Satnav systems fail to take this into account!
The best approach route is therefore via the Flexenpass and Zürs, although it is always best to enquire as to the current road conditions. In summer the northern approach road via Warth and Lech is normally open, offering unrestricted access from the end of May until the onset of winter (depending on the prevailing snow conditions). We recommend that guests enquire as to the current road conditions before setting out.
